The challenge. A sahakari sugar factory in western Maharashtra needed to send weighment slips, payment confirmations, harvesting schedules and AGM notices to thousands of cane-supplier farmers across dozens of villages — in Marathi, reliably and on time.
What we did. NimbleSMS set up DLT-registered Marathi bulk SMS plus a WhatsApp helpdesk. Payment and weighment updates were automated from the mill's records, AGM and meeting notices went out as RCS cards, and farmers could reply on WhatsApp with queries.
